In response to your concerns, Koko goes out into my fenced yard while I am outside watching her. She cannot get out and others can not get in.
: If I understand that correctly, it's not a good idea. A neighbor's dog could get her, a neighor's kid could, too...or she could get spooked and be gone before you could even think about grabbing her...

: : Hi everyone!
: : I'm pretty new to this board- we only got a computer recently but I have seen some real experience over here and I have a question. My Ig Kokopelli(Koko) did something today that I,ve never seen her do before. She is 4 and 1/2 and only eaten the right things(greens, squash, some fruit and beans a few times a week). Shw goes out in my yard every day and has shown no interest in any type of insect until today! She was out as usual, and was coming in the door(she comes in on her own when she is done being out)when all of a sudden she started running for a corner of the porch and pounced on a tomato caterpillar that was crawling by. I ran over to grab her but she had gobbled it down befire I could get to her!I was so surprised I just stood there gaping! Has anyone else had an experience like this? I would appreciate any input. Thanks!
