Black spots on recently acquired Iguana

A couple weeks ago, I acquired an Iguana from a friend of a friend. I now notice a couple black spots on the left side in front of his hind leg. Hes 3 yrs. old I'm told and otherwise seems to be in fine health...eats well, is spry, no signs of illness. What do burn marks look like on an Iguana? How about black fungus? Anyone run across this before? Thanks for any help.
