I'm in Redondo Beach, about 2.5 miles from the coast.
When Vega$ used to live in her tank, I had a CHE on
at night along with an undertank heater. However,
boosting the CHE wasn't always the answer because she
didn't always sleep underneath that. Wot I ended up
doing after some careful monitoring was to cover her
tank with a big towel at nite, and an extra towel at the
end that was closest to the window (I sleep with the
window open). This kept the tank reasonably warm
without fear of overheating the tank.
