We feed them as a standard to our iguanas, it's one of the main greens, every day. Lab work shows Calcium levels excellent and we don't supply ANY calcium supplements either. The Ca:P ratio for Collards is well above the 2:1 ideal range, which as first concerned me since I didn't want to over dose them with Calcium, but after blood work, my worries were gone.
For just greens, Collards would make up around 75 to 80 % of what we feed our iguanas, other things that we mix with it are mustard greens, dandelions, leaves from some plants.
As some have posted in the past, these sites are great for a base line, but doing your own research is the bottom line. Knowing Ca:P ratios, bloodwork, general overall balance diet guidelines, you should be able to put together a diet that you can live with and most important, your iguana can too.
Best Wishes,
