no i havent. i have to just do what i can to keep kirby calm right now. he is still so scared. i dont push him. afraid he will stop eating. i have the opportunity to give kirby to my coworker that wants a chance at raising him.
i think the more i talk to her about iguanas the more of a good hummomma she will be. she wanted him for her son, but quickly advised her that kirby would be hers not his. and the reasons why.
next day she came in and still wants him. we have talked everyday for about a week now about iguanas. i went to her home and we talked more about space, she has a huge home, with a 6 yr old boxer, and a finch. no cats. so home passed inspection with me. :o)
now i still am talking to her about responsibilites and cost and time...she still wants him.
i think i will let her have him soon. kirby is just not getting adjusted to my cats and hates the fatty *man*!!!! i feel so bad for him. she is off this weekend so her and i will probably take kirby there tomorrow night, after work.
if this doesnt work out i have told her i want him back as soon as she questions anything... i do not want kirby abused. i know he will be fine there though. sandy (my friend) really wants to do this right. and i will be there to guide her though it...i just feel bad that kirby has to go to yet, another home. but this place is not home for him...he just wont settle in.
so we will try another way, all in an effort to make him happy! sue3
