i wonder where the spot is, because when my iggy was just a baby, he also all of sudden got a dark spot on his head, i had now idea what it was, i had read a lot about iggy's but didn't know of the existence of a third eye,(on the top of his head.) which it turned out to be, but if it really is a damage on his skin he could've probably burned itself from his lightbulb.make sure he can't touch the lightbulb, because iggy's don't realize when something is TOO hot, that's also one of the reasons why heatrocks are out of the question, that causes kidney problems.

: A friend of mine has a baby iguana that is getting a dark spot on its head,she is using a regular light bulb for a basking light. Is it burning it? what do you think?
