and did you know that at the DB show,there are exceptions to the captive breeders???Igs and savs are ones that can be caught while gravid and just hatch the eggs! They can then sell them at the show!!!!
We got our first sav at the Orlando show and you're right,,they had container full of them,,but ours lived happily for 6yrs.We did find out that they are very prone to fatty liver diease so with Igor,we cut back on high fat like rats and went to feeding him mice.Don't ask why mice are considered lower fat,,,Dan could probably explain that.
They are lovable and easier to raise than igs by a long shot.We do give Igor sunshine at least twice a week.Oh,,and don't go to the monitor forum,,,they'll eat you alive for JUST having a sav that you are going to make dog tame.
