Avacados...good or bad ?

I noticed that Katherine asked a question in reguards to my diet for Igs. I have used a little avacado before in a separate plate because it turns brown so quick. She asked if avacado is poisonous to reptiles and birds. Is it ? I sure hope not. Depending on what State your in....you may here me scream. :o( What is bad for Iguanas...that is probably the easiest question. Besides lettuce and cat food and junk like that...I mean in the produce section at the store...what veggies and fruits do we avoid. I would never have thought avacado would be harmful. Help...............Will I ever get their diet right ? :o(
