Out of curousity, what state do you live in?

Go to yuor local grocery store that carries the most variety of produce. Ask for the produce manager and discuss with him that you'd like for him to carry collard greens (these last longer than mustard or turnip greens). Most stores will stock an item if you ask. I'm not sure how big your ig is, but if you buy a case of collards (we paid $18) it amounts to four plastic grocery bags full after they are de-stemed.

Our prior favorite store (recently bought out by Krogers...Grrrrrrrrrr) would carry edible flowers for us (our chuckwalla eats them). Did they normally stock them? Nope, but I asked and they did.
