i've yet to hear of an ig who will willingly and happily eat alfalfa ... they don't like it, period!

besides not liking it, not everyone agrees that it's good for them *or* necessary for them ... alfalfa is very high in protein ... and even tho it's plant protein, too much protein of any kind is hard on the kidneys ... trust me on this one, you do not want to risk overworking/damaging your ig's kidneys ...

beans are also high in protein and shouldn't be a regular part of the diet, tho most igs *do* like 'em ...

stick with Jen Swofford's diet suggestions ... and "Just Say NO" to high-protein foods ...
