Well that is a problem--ukkkky! Have you heard of the tub method or is that not something that will work for you. Many people have had good luck with training theirs to go in the tub by stimulating them with warm water at first (same time everyday) and then you don't even need water. You just have to be consistent. If yours is a free roamer, it may be more difficult although Sue has hers trained to go in the tub on her own. I take mine personally to the tub and he'll wait for me because he doesn't like to soil his cage. Then he gets to free roam when I get home from work. I'm sure others have ideas about smaller containers of water or newspapers or whatever if he is indeed a free roamer.
