i strongly disagree that ig's "show no signs of love ..."! i believe they *do* ... ok, maybe they don't show love as shamelessly + enthusiastically as puppies do, but they still feel *and* show it! they also feel/show jealousy + possessiveness ...
"Mystic" is a good description of the feeling tho!
