My rabbit used to do it when he was younger. He'd just be standing there, then he'd be two feet in the air. I read somewhere that in juvenile critters, their nerve pathways aren't fused or whatever, so it can cause them to jerk. I don't know if this is the same as in iguanas, or why adults seem to do it more than juvies? Probably just to confuse us, huh? :)
