Baby iguanas often (more often than not) take a long time and a lot of patience and work and most of all, TIME! My first iguana, Lily, was the most fericious and feral iglet I have yet to encounter. It took NINE MONTHS (yes, really!) of holding her everyday, hand-feeding her goodies, being gentle, being patient, etc. I thought Lily was an exceptionally wild one, but as it turns out, she was really no exception at all. Many igs take that long to tame. Don't give up on your iguana! When I was a newbie, I came really close a couple of times to saying, "She is the wildest thing ever. I can't handle her. I want a sweet, tame lizard. Screw this." I kept her, and I was rewarded richly. I can't believe I ever thought that way about Lily. Don't give up! God luck!

Also, Joan, can you send us the link to your EXCELLENT taming page???? Thanks!

Best,
Jamie/JBug
