I would say clean the wound as best possible and then apply the super glue or nail polish. You need to hold the wound closed when doing this so that the glue does not adhere to the inner tissues ( if at all possible ).

I have used this technique on myself several times when a wound(small one) or cut was in such a difficult place, usually on the palm of the hand or other place where a bandage would not work. As you see, I am still alive and well enough to type this message to you. Super glue tends to be sterile in nature and works pretty well. Over time the glue will naturally wear off. It forms a solid strong bonding of the tissue which is what you need for a reptile where a bandage will not work - in fact - I would say that a reptile is a perfect candidate for this procedure.
