Excuse the typos I'm in a rush...Oh boy... I see your thoughts on this too...however a reptile can't afford to loose much blood before it dies. If the cut is bleeding the only way to stop it is to do what the vet said. If it's not bleeding you can use Providine Iodine (betidine) solution ...mix with warm water until it looks like tea. Soak the cut then follow up with triple antibiotic ointment. If the vet told you to do it....go ahead but make sure you go back first thing in the morming. If there is infection in the wound...you are sealing it in. The super glue needs to be put on sparingly...a little bit at a time. Kinda like nail polish (clear). I've heard of this being used instead of super glue...but it's basically the same treatment. GOOD LUCK :o)
