are the RN's i work with! they're experts at putting tubes down teeny, tiny throats, but know absolutely nothin' about igs ... 'cept what they've been forced to learn by listening to me ramble on endlessly about iZ ... LOL
that *is* good to know about ig's anatomy tho! thank you!!! hopefully, i'll never need to tube *any*one again, but it's good to know! (and here i thought it was cuz i was born to be a neo-nate nurse! *drats*)
hey BJ ... while i've got your attention + i'm thinkin' about it ... (i figure if i ask + learn this, i'll never need to know it ...) ... is it possible to *nasally* insert a tube to the stomach??? the *only* prob i had going orally was that iZ would relax, shut his mouth and chomp the tube ... (went thru *alot* of teeny tiny tummy tubes that wkend!) ... thanx !!!
