Sneakers has 2 basking spots in his cage. One is set up to be warmer than the other. I've noticed that it depends on the time of year as to which one he prefers. Winter he will mostly be under the warmer one and all this summer he has been under the cooler one.

Out of his cage he has his favorite spots, but every now and then he will try out a new one for a couple of days. Recently he discovered my husband's fluffy knit beanie type cap laying on top of my dresser. It must be awful comfortable to lay on cause that now has become his favorite spot to kick back. He's even gotten to the point where if we have put something on top of the beanie he will stand there just looking at us. We have to race over and remove the affending object for his highness. Then he will immediately go and lay down on the beanie.

Joan (he sure has us trained)
