Thats funny !! My female will bob only if she's angry. Mainly at our male....trying to move her from where she is. The female bob looks funny....it's a quicker movement, kind of like a male just learning how.....sometimes it can be quick jerks from left to right as well....:o) The male will bob for lots of reasons....happy, mad, just saw you for the first time today,other male near by (image in mirror), new spot etc. Once the male learns how to bob correctly...it looks more controlled than the female. Very cute !
