I know how you feel. Having a pet euthenized is always the hardest decision. I'm the wus in the family and always hold out. Luckily for me and the poor animal, my husband will step in and say thats enough. Through all the years of keeping animals, sometimes I have picked out there time to go perfectly and some I have waited to long and kicked myself for letting them suffer longer than they had to.
In whatever you decide, just remember you tried to do what was best for Stevie and don't beat yourself up. Its easy to know when looking back what you should have done, its hard to know whats right at the moment its happening.
