Too much Collard greens gives too much protein...if you have a full size Ig that is. Don't use anything from a can...contains salt. Raw green beans, sweet pea pods, carrots can be shredded...makes it easier to eat and digest. Think of it this way...if the veggie is a hard veggie...shred it...if it's a little crunchy like fresh green beans....cut them in small pieces (1/4 in. to 1/2 inch is good. The smaller the pieces the better off they'll be. They love mustard greens and endive, don't feed too much kale..they'll get backed up...cabbage does that too. Don't feed lettuce...has no vitamins compared to other greens... Romaine Lettuce is the worst. Check out Melissa Kaplans website for more info. Lots of stuff there. They love fruits...apple (peeled and cut real small, red graped cut in half, pears, strawberries, bluberries, they don't like blackberries (too sour). Feed about roughly 3% fruit the rest veggies daily. Website below....
