I realize this won't work for much longer but I got a weight on Sleestack who is around 3ft long-- it was quite a balancing act, but I have a cooking scale I bought that goes up to 5 pounds-- so I put a flat object on it (I guess it goes higher than 5 because you can subtract the amount of whatever you lay on top) Anyway, I somehow got him still enough to balance him for a minute to read the weight. I needed it to medicate him (to know the doseage).
