: i have a young iguana, 18 inches, he was roaming around my porch and my minnature dacshund took a snap at his foot, causing him to bleed with a small cut, should i take him to a vet or let him heal on his own?

You should probably put neosporin (sp?) on it so it won't get infected, and just keep an eye on it. If it starts to look funny or if you're worried about it, have a vet look at it.
