I've had one of my cockatiels for 19 years and other than being a very old bird with an attitute he been fine. Once a went without the grit for about 6 months, don't remember why, then when I got some and put it in their cages they all immediately went and ate it. I'm going to have to rethink this. Maybe there is something lacking in their diet that caused this reaction.
