>>>how long does it take for all symptoms of MBD to disappear......a few months?????

Depends on how severe her MBD is/was....some deformities that can occur usually stay like scoliosis (curvature of spine)....paralysis, thighs swelling, fibrous osteodystrophy: softening of the bones, jawline swelling/lumps may take 6-9 months to completely repair themselves/fade Dunno...but Elisa...Im so glad your iguana found YOU! I'd expect her to still be a little weird (still not feelin the best, and new owner, new enviroment)...she's just hissing....be thankful she hasn't gotten in the habit of biting....respect her space...and give her lots of time she's on the mend! Low phosphorus, high calcium , fiber diet....okie dokie!
