As the other said, some deformations like a curved spine and bone deformations will never be back to normal, but the attitude can be normal. Sometimes they just get in testie moods like everyone I guess. Both my igs would hiss at one point or another even when they were completely tame-- it's their only way to vocalize anything! Salvador did it everytime I picked him up-- just to let me know he preffered to choose where he wants to be! (but he was a sweetheart) and Sleestack now hisses sometimes when I take him to the bathroom or try to give him medicine (that's a series of very annoyed hisses)-- but he seems more scared than mad. As long as it's not accompanied by whipping and displaying I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just think of them as crotchety old people sometimes resenting your help but grudgingly going along with it since they know you care!
