I heard it might be due to a viral/bacterial infection, or a cancerous synptom, but i'm nowhere near 100% sure. Take a fresh sample of the ig's feces and bring 'em to a vet.
Might be justa diet problem.

Good luck!

: Hi everyone ! I've been reading until my eyes are crossed. I have two questions ! 1) Im almost positive it was my female..because she always eats and pottys first...It appears that there was blood or it looked like blood..in her defecation today.. There wasn't alot but what is this ? I was thinking that it must have something to do with breeding season. I can't find anything stating this however. I also fed them strawberries in their food yesterday (figures)...but I've given strawberries a couple times before and never saw this.. They go in a litterbox of water so it showed up easily. My second question...I do not have a so called nesting box for my female to lay her eggs. If I don't supply one will she have a problem with egg binging or anything else ? Thanks guys....I get tired of looking for answers to my questions sometimes. You'd think these things would be mentioned in detail somewhere.
