A few months ago I took part in a reptile display for some local Boy Scouts. Well Rufus a friend of mines 5' Ig was walking toward the crowd(like we were going to carry him!!!) and he just looked down, opened his mouth, stuck out his tounge and grabbed the rock the size of a 20oz soda bottle cap. Without missing a beat he took his next step and continued towards the bleachers. We all watched it in slow motion and jumped down and pried his mouth open, but he had already swallowed it. Monday he went to the vet, and after X-raying him, the vet decided that surgery was unnessasary and wrote a perscription for some of that oil goop to help pass stuff like that. He was X-rayed a week later and it was gone, so apparently he passed it somewhere. But it scared all of us since he is a big teddy bear. Even in matting season, he goes after the females, but has never acted in agression towards humans. Sufice it to say we were happyly relieved that he passed a rather large rock.

Matt
