i do the same, but i don't bother to strip the bark ... it makes climbing easier *and* works to wear down those large femoral pores of iZ's!!

if the limb or branch is too big for the tub, you can take it outside or to the basement and soak it down using a spray bottle ... rinse well and let it air out for a few days, the chlorine will evaporate ...

besides preventing any parasites from attacking the ig, you're also preventing any buggies from infesting your house!
