Yes I have 2 (160 & 300 watt floods) only operate during winter months, inclement weather(my igs are outside almost everyday)...So far lamps are great! Read their site over carefully about distances & type of lamp (flood or spot) you need, set em on timers, I have mine on 3 hours daily in place of the uvb lights I used to run 10 hours daily. I unscrew them and have them stored until needed. I run my basking lights, heat lamps when Active UV heat lamps not on (igs aren't getting sun). Also I have them positioned so that they are towards the back end of my iguanas not directly overhead or where they face them. They last about 2,000 hours. I think they're worth the cost about $40-50. You may not even need to run them daily. Im going to play around with that this next winter. Maybe go for every other day...or a couplea times a week. They do NOT emit UVC. If you buy the fixture for it as well...you may want to rub down the inside as the oil/lubricant they coat it with....creates an odor when it burns. If you do not rub this oil out make sure your enclosure is well ventilated when first using the lamp/fixture combo.... better to be safe than sorry....the fumes may be hazardous to your iguana, tho I haven't heard of this causing problems for iguanas. I use regular porcelin fixtures (like ceiling house mounts) for my lamps so I haven't experienced this complaint ...only have read about it.
