yep I sure did quit on that poor monitor! I feel bad about it believe me! I won't bore you with details....but Im thankful Im starting to know my limitations! Everyone can't be Melissa Kaplan...who talks about having 50 iguanas, 17 of which are adult males all living harmoniously together not to mention all her other reptiles & animals. The local ASPCA where I got this mean black throat monitor called me last month to come look at 2 caimen, and 1 untamed nile monitor (3 ftr.)to foster. I declined, other contacts failed, all 3 euthanized exactly 1 week later ***sigh*** At least 1 monitor I failed is still alive!
