only thing i'd add is that i used aloe on iZ when he got burned (at the vet's!) ... i've always used it on *me* for burns + it really seems to take the pain/heat out of it, i figure it could do the same for igs, can't hurt ...
depending on how deep a burn it is, triple-anntibiotic ointment is a good idea too ...
give the vet a call in the morning ... if it's a very deep burn, 'Silvadene' cream (presciption) is one of the best treatments ...
careful you don't *rub* on whatever you choose to use! just dab/blob it on and let it soak in on it's own ...
move the light, rethink your set-up and don't keep kicking yourself!!! it sucks, but accidents happen ...
