well, iZ + i are going thru another mating season, the worst one yet ... so far ... he's a 4.5yo male and even with all that puts us *both* thru, i'd rather deal with males than eggy worries every year ... well, my mind may change if Kirby turns out to be a girlie ...
iZ gets really grouchy and when he's grouchy for whatever reason (mating season, shedding itchies, it's raining ... etc) he doesn't eat as much ... he's never lost his appetite for more than a couple days at a time *just* becuase of moodiness tho ...
aggressive? you betcha! tho this was the 1st year that he was *really* aggressive ... he would stalk me and lunge at me ... he's calmed down quite a bit since last month, now he's just really jealous/possessive if hubby is around ...
mating season with a 5' ig is one of the *main* resaons it's important to get to understand your ig's language! when you know the "Leave Me ALone" signal and follow directions, it's not toooo bad ... really!
