I still get scratched sometimes ...but since I bought welding gloves I don't have as many. I cant always use them both at the same time though. I use one with a towel draped over the same arm when I get them out of the bath. They are made of sturdy leather and they like the feel of them. I think we get scratched so much because they like to dig their nails into something to feel safe. Leaping lizards....that must be a funny sight. :o)
