I was wondering something. My Iguanas eat well everyday..and they eat alot. But for instance, I feed them in two seperate containers, one being their greens (collard, endive, sometimes kale )etc...the other container...fresh green beans, squash, mushrooms, apple, blueberries, strawberries, grated carrot or grated sweet potatoe, radish, sweet pea pods, and many other fresh veggies that are good for them. I use at least 5 or 6 veggies and about 3% fruit in this bowl each day. My question is....if they eat all of the mix bowl and less leafy veggies ...is this a problem. Is leafy greens more important to their digestive system than the other veggies that they eat. I noticed since they have so many things going on in that one container, that they sometimes eat alot less of the leafy greens. Would this cause renal failure in the long run? Just curious. I want them to not only eat good, but eat right as well. Thanks for all your help in figuring these guys out. There is sometimes no answer to my questions like this. :o)
