Our Ig is addicted to the computer too

Our Ig (about 8" S-V) has decided that he likes to hang out on top of the computer monitor. He climbs there himself (climbs the cords at the back of the computer) when he is finished basking in the sunshine from the window sill. When he gets too warm, he moves over to the top of the tower, then back to the monitor for more warming. He does get put back in his enclosure every night, and seems to always do his "duty" in there.

What I'm wondering is...

A) should I worry about him urinating/deficating on the monitor?

B) is hanging out on it bad in any way for him or the monitor?

C) should I consider hanging a UVB light above the monitor?

Needless to say... since my daughter, his owner, is at the computer a LOT, he gets a lot of attention when he's there (lots of talking to him, not handling).
