My iguana wolfgang gets darker when she's chilly, This is probably the reason. She also changes color(darker or lighter) depending on her mood.
Her face is always changing colors--independently from her darkening of her body. She is light blue (almost like the white that iz gets{i assume})
around her big scale and the sides of her face, she is either light blue, violet, dark purplish-brown and normal greenish grey.
I think that the main thing that has to do with color is heat, but if your ig starts looking yellowish, than that's from stress and bad. (when i got a cat this happened to my ig till i separated them)
