yeah, i've had to carefully snip stuck spike sheds too ... mineral oil may help alittle bit too, keeps the shed softer at least and possibly a little less constricting ... a wet wash cloth over the spikes while in the tub helps a bit too ... iZ has gotten to the point where he gives me evil nasty looks if i don't get his "Super Ig cape" on quick enough! *grin*
