I went into a petstore today (for the last time) to
buy some lights for my Rock Igs and what I saw broke my
heart..... Two Ctenosaur Palearous are starving to death.
They are suppose to be a pair (male.female). Both are
young, not more than 2-2 1/2 feet. They are pretty wild
so the store has not been able to sell them. These guys
are real skinny, I do not know how much longer they will
stay alive..... The petstore said they would sale the pair
to me for only $50 , but I do not have the room. I might
be able to talk them down some more on the price...
I know they want to just get rid of them... I have seen
These guys on price lists before and they normally sell
for $100 apiece....
I'm not trying to turn a buck... I am just hoping
that some one out there is looking for some Ctenosaurs.
These animals are awesome (when taking care of). Reptiles
mag did an article on them last year....
