Iggmom,
I have had the misfortune of one of my Iggs losing his tail at a very young age (my fault totally,almost wept) I recall much twitching
directly after the event,and some after.
His tail did regenerate a new,lackluster
(but it fits him now)tail.I am only guessing that the twitching is either one of two things,that of regenerative tissue,as you are hopeful to believe,or the less heartening idea that it may be nerve damage causing involuntary reflex.
I'm hoping for the former for you...and her.
