stress can be a *serious* problem and can kill! stress of moving is one thing, stress of being dominated is a whole 'nother story tho!!
very possible jericho is picking up the scent of the newcomers and that is adding to the stress ...
but i would really go with the dominance theory here ...
don't go by food being left over to assume the little one is getting his share! i dog-sat a hound who didn't get enough to eat at home (baaaad baaaad people) ... during the day, he was fine + best of pals with my dog ... at feeding time he was an absolute demon! it didn't matter that hound dog *knew* me and *knew* he'd get plenty of food, that wasn't enough, he wanted ALLLLLL the food for himself ... when he *really* snapped at my dog, we began feeding one indoors and one OUTdoors ...
ok ... my point is *not* that you are not feeding them enough!!! my point is, once one decides to be aggressive/possessive about food, it's a kinda of craziness ... it makes no sense + has no logic ... it just *is* ...
definitely feed them seperately ... definitely start making plans for seperate enclosures and rooms! take the small bite the little one got as the *serious warning* it was meant to be, it was *not* an accident!
