I have a 3 yr old spiny-tailed iguana which I have raised from a baby. She is now about 3 1/2 ft total length. She has lived all her life in a glass "lizard lounge" with the appropriate lights, heat, food supplements, etc. I now have an appropriate large screened cage and will be putting him outside for the first time within a week or so. The temp here in Kansas is now in the 90's for highs and 65-70 for the lows. Do you think she will have any problem adjusting to the outdoor conditions, other than just adapting to new sights, sounds, temp range, etc. She has been very healthy, but I'm sure she will do even better with some outdoor time. I will, of course, have to being her back in in the fall when temps drop into the 50's. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!
