it's actually harder than you'd think to get a diet *really low* in protein! (i've tried due to iZ's probs!) ... the risk of not getting *enough* protein into your ig is very very slight ...

squash + beans are high in protein ... also dandelion greens!

speaking of greens ... what's "dark green leads"??? (not awake yet!) ... watercress, escarole, endive, dandelion greens, turnip greens are all good greens to feed ... stay away from spinach + chard except for very occasionally ... dandelions right out of the yard *IF* there has been no pesticide/fertilizer sprayed ...

broccoli also should only be an occasional treat ... iZ *loves* it but it's not real good for them ... don't give in 'clumps' cuz igs don't chew, even with all those teeth, they swallow whole ... i slice it fairly thin for iZ ... (yeah, he's spoiled rotten!)
