I am not sure about the spec's that you mentioned, I would have to read the instructions first. However, we use two (2) in-line 110v thermostats per enclosure. They are at the same height but at opposite ends of the cage. The thermostats are connected either (1) directly to a power source-which means they are operating all the time, or , (2) indirectly through timers - so that the thermostats will come on only during certain times.
One is connected to a ceramic heater (for winter day and all the time nite heat )and the other is connected to a white heat lamp for daytime heat. The purpose is to get both lateral ( side to side ) temperature gradient and vertical ( top to bottom ) temp gradient.
We have temp and humidity readers ( both analog and digital ) in various locations throughout the enclosure. This way we can set up the temps on the thermostats to get the gradient we want and constantly monitor the temps within the enclosure.
By the way the wiring is pretty easy for the thermostats and they cost arount $14.00 to $18.00 dollars. If you decide to buy regular milliamp thermostats, your work will be a lot harder. Hope this helps.
