Having a REALLY crazy life right now, but since I love y'all like family, I wanted to give you an update and let you know why I haven't been posting much, and why I might not be posting much for the next little while. Here goes:
Had a job interview yesterday for the seafood department at SuperOne. Not my dream job, but at least it's a job in a town where jobs are hard to come by. Seafood counter is better than checker, at any rate. Better pay, better hours. Of course, already there are drawbacks: My friend, Isaac, has dubbed me the "Crab Girl." *sigh* :) They're supposed to call me tomorrow and let me know one way or the other. Cross your fingers for me! I'll keep you all posted!
My animal science correspondence course is goinng pretty well. Just got back my 8th test, and I missed a question, which broke my perfect score, but I'm over it already. :) I'm now a quarter of the way through the course. Woooohooo!
Amelia (the carpet shark) is doing really well. She is growing like crazy! She now has a ferret-proofed room in which she runs around most of the time, and she's happy as a little clam. I'm thinking about getting her a roomie after a while. I think two would be ideal!
Bones is in season. He has been monsterously grumpy lately. Doesn't want anything to do with me except for food and a trip to the potty. He's back under his UVB lamp because I can't *even* take him outside while he's at his worst like this! Tore the living he!! out of my arm last time he was out. Between the sun and his season, he was freaked out beyond belief. Bon....what have you done? Did you somehow transmit iZ's insaity to my sweet boy??? AAaaccckkk! Scratching, nipping, smeggies, orangeness....it's a madhouse! The only time he's nice is when he's a SLEEEEEEEPY lizard. Then he forgets that it's his destiny to destry me. :)
Nemo (BD) is pretty much the same as he ever was. My sweet, chubby little fellah. He *still* needs a girlfriend! :)
Cree (for those of you who don't know, he's my signifigant other) and I are going through a trial seperation. I'm going to stay and work and he's going to go to Spokane (about 2 hours away). It'll be hard because we've been together for four years, but it's sort of a relief. Technically, it's a "trial" separation, but I have the feeling that it'll be permanent.
So, anyhow...that's my insanity! My posting will probably be pretty sporatic for the next while, at least until my life gets a little more sorted out. But rest assured, I'll be around! I won't be shaken that easily! *G*
