That's a problem alright.....I have extra tanks for rescues and emergencies. Are you making a top for a 2nd tank ? If I understand you...you have another tank but it has no top. Depending on what kind of structure you have...you can build a frame out of wood and staple gun a screen on it. That would be quick and ok for a while. Send me a picture of your enclosure and I'll see if I have other ideas. You may be able to use a mesh netting for the top ...Send the pic here or at sdmd@erols.com and I'll help. Or if no camera....describe the enclosure to me. Wood ? Metal ? Plexi ? Lighting on the inside mounted on top ? You might have to ask the pet store to watch the smaller anoles for a ouple of days while you fix it...if you don't have a way to get the supplies. How big are your anoles? If they are small you might be able to find a big cardboard box and put a screen over it. Put a small light on the top.. put a towel or fake grass on the bottom. Place their food etc. in there and keep it in a bathroom. Good for a day ....Just trying to think of what you might have laying around. I had some anoles years ago but they were only 3inches long.
