Last time I was in a Petsmart (not too long ago), they still had reptiles, just no iguanas. From what I saw, the quality of care had not improved at all from when they had iguanas...the day after their grand opening, there was a dead chinese water dragon in the tank...and the rest didn't look very good. And a lot of the reps were misidentified (or in the wrong tank). sighh

: I was down in Denver today when my car broke in a business park that happened to contain a petsmart. I figured I might as well go in and see if it had improved from my memory, just to kill time waiting for the tow truck (my precious car! Sob!). Well, they still had fish, and small rodents, but not a single reptile. In fact, the area where they used to keep them was entirly redone--they put markdowns there now. I looked elsewhere in the store, and didn't see any herps of any sort.
: Is this chainwide or just an individual store thing? I figure ya'll would know, seeing as you seem to keep a close eye on the pet trade.
