: How old are IG's before they start laying eggs?

Upon sexual maturity 18 months but this is not etched in stone. Some igs become gravid at one year. Alot has to do with the size of the ig and not so much age. Seems female igs in captivity generally start producing eggs at 3 years old ....based on reading messages on iguana, reptile forums.
