Hi! I had the same problem a few months ago with Rex. I think I was so fascinated with the fact that he/she would eat from my hands, that it became a habit. After a while, it seemed like he/she wasn't coming down to eat as often as I would have liked. I ended up having to go from doing this every day to doing it every other day for about 2 weeks, then every 3 days for a week or so, then after that it seemed like he/she got the idea and the habit was broken. Also, if I was anywhere in sight watching him/her, he/she wouldn't come down to eat, like he/she was waiting for *me* to come feed him/her. Thankfully he/she no longer picks through the food to find "the good stuff" (LOL!) although I have had to start putting the greens and the squash mixture on seperate plates so he/she will eat everything. (Don't ask! LOL!)

Glad to hear Minga's doing so well, though!
Tracie
