Get either the dog or your iguana away from each other. It's pretty plain to see that your iguana is scared of your dog, so why put him in that situation? The hide box would not solve the problem, at the most it would be a temporary fix but the problem is always walking around on four legs....separate the two completely.
It's like having a snake and letting it crawl around next to a bird cage, what would you think the bird would do??
